Elizabeth has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), which results in muscular wasting similar to multiple sclerosis (MS).
Despite these challenges she’s a qualified scuba diver, having gained her SSI Adaptive Open Water Diver qualification with Diveheart in the Caribbean. She comes along to the pool every month to keep her dive skills current.
